Fleeing your homeland, learning a new language, and adapting to a different culture is difficult. You have overcome so much. And yet, you have the power to do so much more.
We at CPLC Workforce want to ease your transition and help you reach financial and social stability. Our refugee-centered programs help you access housing, education, employment, and more.
Whether you came alone or with your family, whether you have just arrived or been here a few years, we are here to help you succeed.

Refugee Re-Empowerment Program (RRP)
If you are a newly arrived immigrant or refugee family in Maricopa County, we can help you help you find a pathway to financial stability. We can help you enroll in industry-recognized certification programs in STEM fields such as the high-tech manufacturing industry, computer science, and medical fields. We can also help with:
- Permanent housing
- Transporatation
- Personal items
- Education navigation
- English language acquisition
- Employment
- Health and wellness
- Benefits screening and enrollment assistance
- Food
- Legal Services
- Social integration
Refugee Youth Mentoring Programs
We provide mentorship and case management to refugee youth ages 16-25 to help you reach your academic goals. We pair refugees with mentors, many of whom come from the same country or region, to provide one-on-one support.
Our goal is not simply to place you in a job, but to help you enter a career. We will also help you gain life skills to support your well-being. We can help you find a job, enroll in High School or GED equivalent, enroll in ESL classes, and access college assistance.
Afghan Refugee Programs
If you are an Afghan refugee, we want to help you on your journey to obtain an education, career, and safe and affordable home. We will help you:
- Maintain and celebrate your cultural heritage, while educating you on aspects of American culture
- Find opportunities to engage with your peers socially
- Participate in civic and community service activities
- Learn English, math, and other skills
- Develop health and financial literacy
- Find academic support by helping you with homework or assisting with school transitions
- Access opportunities for career development
