Don’t leave them behind
Don’t leave them… who is “them”?
“Them” is Norma Jimenez who came to the US from Durango at one years old. Norma is now 21, and has never been back to Mexico. She knows no other life than here in the US. This is her country and she’s excited to graduate from college and give back to the community she loves. Norma’s studying Health Care Administration at Grand Canyon University.
“Them” is Edgar Zamudio, who moved from Mexico at 10-years old. He’s now 21 and attending Phoenix College working toward his degree. Edgar’s goal is to work hard to give back to his parents and the community. Currently, he works as a volunteer for several community organizations.
These are the stories of “them” two people, but they represent many others. “Them” are contributing members of the community who value family, friends, education, giving to others. “Them” are valedictorians, leaders, role models, talented professionals, agents of change with much to give.
“Them” are family, friends, and valuable members of the community who are at risk to lose everything. For a limited time only, please join CPLC as we attempt to raise $100,000 to help 215 of “them”. Your donation will pay their application fee and enable “them” to take advantage of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals and legally stay in the United States for at least two more years so that they can continue as productive, valuable members of society.
For a limited time only, please donate and help “them” (click here). CPLC is a 501(c)3, as always your donations are tax deductible. To see your donation at work, view the active them-o-meter on the right side of this page.
