Since 1969, our primary reason for existence has been to provide the community an economic opportunity. Economic opportunity is our promise. We deliver on that promise through our four pillars of service: Education, Social Services, Economic Development and Housing. Our programmatic approaches are aimed at providing the tools necessary to empower individuals, families, and entire communities achieve their goals and aspirations to be self-sufficient. Our services are available to anyone who meets our income guidelines, regardless of their ethnicity or cultural background.

CPLC developed an innovative business model that reduces the burden for public dollars to provide needed services to our community. A 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, CPLC has created for-profit entities through private partnerships. Profits from these ventures help support the many non-profit programs that benefit the community. CPLC is a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) awarded CPLC its highest level of accreditation for the quality of service at its outpatient and residential treatment facilities.

The skills, knowledge, and expertise of the work of our approximately 900 employees have been recognized nationally and internationally. We are known as Arizona’s leading Community Development Corporation with over 80 offices in the state. We recently expanded our services to Clark County, Nevada and in the coming months we will be delivering our services to the people of New Mexico.
