CPLC Scholarship Recipients Graduate from ASU

Yvanna Morales is a Secondary Education major whose work will transform youth into compassionate, socially-conscious leaders of tomorrow.

“This scholarship made me a first-generation college graduate. I have accepted a job as a Social Justice Studies teacher in the Roosevelt School District.”

Edgar Fernandez is an artist whose work has been featured in the Phoenix Art Museum and galleries and murals throughout the city.

“This scholarship did not only assist me financially, but motivated me to create my very best work in my classes. I would like to thank the donors who made my experience at ASU an unforgettable one that will assist me in my professional art career.”
