Community Schools

CPLC Community Schools offer high school students in low-income communities a culturally-relevant learning environment that caters to each student’s individual needs. Our mission is to graduate leaders that are academically prepared, empowered to make informed decisions, confident in their ability to succeed and prepared for college and careers.

Totecalli High School is located on Tucson’s South side and serves an average of 120 students per year. The school is known for its community-based learning environment and currently offers extended day classes for credit recovery, tutoring, competitive basketball and volleyball and gardening activities.

Envision High School is located on Tucson’s west side and serves an average of 75 students per year. The school also offers after school tutoring, competitive volleyball and basketball, arts, and gardening activities.

Both schools offer free healthy lunches, referrals for homeless students, and behavioral health counseling.

Our two schools provide students a high quality education by implementing a strong rigorous curriculum that meets the Arizona Department of Education (ADE) requirements for graduation. Both schools are rated performing schools by the State Department of Education standards. All CPLC Community School instructional staff meets the Highly Qualified requirements by ADE.
