Give it. Got it. Good!

CPLC employees in Arizona—did you know you can donate to a CPLC program and get your money paid back to you by the State of Arizona? As long as you owe income tax in the Arizona, you can!

Here’s how:

Give it.

Sign up below to donate as little as $4 of each paycheck to the CPLC Program of your choice. Your donations add up!

When you sign up, the Payroll team will automatically deduct the amount you select to the program you choose starting with the second paycheck in January (25 total pay periods).

Got it.

Get your donation back at tax time when you claim the QCO Tax Credit. Donations to CPLC of up to $400 for individuals or up to $800 for couples filing jointly are eligible.

A tax credit directly reduces the amount of taxes you owe to the State of Arizona, dollar for dollar. This means that a donation of $400 can reduce the amount you owe in state taxes by $400 (although it cannot increase your tax refund). If your tax is reduced to zero or if you expect to receive a tax refund, you can carry your unused credit forward for up to five years.

Claiming the credit is easy—you don’t even have to itemize your tax return to get it.

Good!

You have supported CPLC programs and got your money back—it’s like donating for free!

Complete the form below to enroll for the 2023 calendar year. Donations will begin to deduct from your paycheck starting on the second paycheck of the year.

At the end of the year, you will receive a tax receipt and information on how to claim the QCO tax credit.

If you participated in 2022, your participation will be renewed automatically. You do not need to complete the form below unless you would like to change your deduction amount or program.
