
For the past 13 years, CPLC has recognized over 100 outstanding Latino educators that have inspired students of all backgrounds to learn and achieve their aspirations, play an active role in the school and have demonstrated a true commitment to the community. CPLC is now accepting nominations for the 14th Annual Esperanza Latino Teacher Awards presented by Cox Communications and SRP. Any teacher, principal or superintendent can submit a nomination form on behalf of an educator that meets the following criteria.
All nominees should:
• Inspire students of all backgrounds to learn
• Play an active role in the school and community
• Spend majority of school day in classroom
• Possess a valid Arizona Teaching Certificate
• Teach at a state-approved or accredited school in Arizona
• Have a letter of recommendation from the school’s principal
2012 Esperanza Nomination Form.
Nomination deadline is August 17th.
