CPLC Préstamos CDFI, LLC is a CDFI that will provide high quality small business loans and technical services to its clients. CPLC Préstamos CDFI, LLC., through its parent corporation, Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc., has administered lending programs for small businesses located in a rural and urban Arizona since 1980.  In 1992, CPLC Préstamos acquired the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Microloan Pilot Program and became Arizona’s first SBA Microlender.  To meet the needs of small and emerging businesses and microenterprises, CPLC established several small business loan programs in the counties of Maricopa, Coconino, Gila, Graham, Mohave, and Pima.  In view of the success of its loan programs and the continued need and demand for these services, CPLC created CPLC Préstamos CDFI, LLC in 2001.  CPLC Préstamos became certified by the U.S. Department of the Treasury in 2003 as a Community Development Financial Institution (“CDFI”) and a Community Development Entity (“CDE”).
