President's Message

 Dear Friends,

This past year proved to be yet another successful one for Chicanos Por La Causa.  Building on a long-standing tradition of social responsibility, CPLC continues to empower its clients through life changing programs in four key service areas—economic development, housing, education, and social services.  Because of our dedicated staff, we have positively impacted the lives of 125,000 individuals in 14 of Arizona’s 15 counties.

Since its inception in 1968, CPLC’s goal has been to promote the well-being of Arizona’s socially and economically deprived communities.  Our unique service delivery approach is aimed at achieving the goal of providing the opportunities for improvement.  Our accomplishments have helped us evolve into a community partner that is known and respected for its ability to advance individuals, families, and communities. 

Although we are known as Arizona’s largest Hispanic Community Development Corporation (CDC), our work is not limited to the state.  Our skills, knowledge, and experience have been utilized nationally and internationally in developing social and economic development projects. 

We are proud of the numerous achievements addressed within this report.  However, there is much work still to be done.  We will use these and other accomplishments as benchmarks in our on-going mission to promote healthy and vital neighborhoods.

I would like to thank all of our governing and advisory board members, benefactors, partners, and friends for their expertise, dedication, and resources.  Thank you for playing a crucial part in CPLC’s legacy of giving back.

We proudly reflect on our achievements for this past year.  They will help us shape our future.
